You computery guys are so adorable. Yes, we will watch stuff on our laptops on trains sometimes. And on our phones sometimes. And on our iPods sometimes. But, oh, by the way, sales of high end televisions have never been stronger, too. I'm fixin' to buy one myself, despite canceling half my cable channels. (Clint Eastwood just isn't the same on the screen of my PDA).
The whole problem with 'the future of media' is that there isn't A future. It's a great, big fractal mess. Which is fun for some consumers and most hardware manufacturers. But hell if you make your living in the media. Or trying to sell something on it.
