It was over the second bloggers started selling ads, and social networking communities sold out to media empires, and marketing people started making up fake specimens of both. Just as the world was waking up to the too-good-to-be-trueness of democratized media, it went commercial, proving their worst fears. Not since 1837 was a revolution so short lived. Always remember: The pioneers get the arrows. The settlers get the land.
