I agree with you, Matt, and question why he didn't go to someone else (as I mentioned above). In fact, I would expect that of anyone working with or for me. But while it's easy to question that decision, the reality is that we all do things for various reasons that seem like the right thing at the time, and I don't believe it is appropriate for me, at least, to question whether Mel thought he was doing the right thing or not.
